Subject: Lotus Notes Mail Rules
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows Vista client
Release: All
Reproducible: Always

One of our end users created some email rules and 2 of them are having issues.
The rules are pretty basic. Get email from (user) move it to (folder)
The rules seem to work however when the user goes to the folder where the email was moved to there is nothing but a small circle located under the "Type Icons" heading and the "WHO, SUBJECT, DATE AND SIZE" fields are empty.
If you hover the mouse cursor over this "circle" it shows "Rule_Off.gif".
I checked the rules and both of them are indeed on and enabled within the rules setup area.
If I drag and drop this email back into the "Inbox" all of the above mentioned fields are populate. Dragging it back once again seems to hide the email as mentioned above.
I have removed and recreated the rules myself as well as deleted the folder and started from scratch yet when this rules functions the above issues happen regardless.
How can I fix this?
Since you do not have a selection for Windows 7 I selected Vista.
Also this is an 8.5 version client.
